About the photo: “I took this around 11am in Death Valley at a site called Artist’s Palette where the ground is brightly colored from oxidized minerals. My girlfriend and I were on a trip across the USA and were heading back via Death Valley. I was transfixed by the small twisters that slowly moved across the landscape. They seem weirdly self reliant and alive in a totally arid environment. Like other areas of extreme conditions on Earth, it’s a place where humans cannot survive, a place which is alien and threatening to us.” – Reuben Wu

Global Yodel builds a handmade custom frame and mat for the photograph you order. Global Yodel uses a conservation method for framing prints. Frames are available in black or white and come with a custom cut acid-free mat as well as acid-free backing.

All prints are shipped in a fitted plastic sleeve. 8” x 10” and 12” x 16” and prints are shipped in a flatboard mailer. 18” x 24” and 30” x 40” prints are shipped in a sturdy tube.
