Heinz ketchup, Andy Warhol, bridges, and gray skies are all major elements of the environment that shapes me and my work.

A perfect day in Pittsburgh? A perfect day for me starts with sunshine in the morning, followed by a good project on the table, then an afternoon skate session for lunch, and then a nice evening hanging with my wife and dog. Too me, this is perfection.
A perfect meal in Pittsburgh? I always recommend Morton’s Steakhouse for a high end meal that is nothing short of outstanding, but a true local treasure is Thai Suan Thip. The Thai food served is the most traditional and natural I have ever tasted, which keeps me going back for more. Luckily, they are no more than 5 minutes from my house… awesome!
A little known fact about Pittsburgh? Beyond all of the medical/ science contributions and blue collar attitude, Pittsburgh created the First U.S. Commercial Radio Station. Dr. Frank Conrad, assistant chief engineer of Westinghouse Electric, first constructed a transmitter and installed it in a garage near his home in Wilkinsburg in 1916. The station was licensed as 8XK. At 6 p.m. on Nov. 2, 1920, 8KX became KDKA Radio and began broadcasting at 100 watts from a make-shift shack atop one of the Westinghouse manufacturing buildings in East Pittsburgh.
Where is your favorite place in the world? So far, I would have to say New York City. I have yet to have the opportunity to travel over seas, but in the States, New York is the best by far.
