I have been a long time fan of LPV Magazine. LPV is an online and print mag dedicated to contemporary, documentary and fine art photography. It is a source of inspiration, beautifully curated by Bryan Formhals.
I thought it would be a good idea to give away a year’s subscription of LPV to a Global Yodel fan. You can gift it if you already have one.
Who wants it? Tell us what your favorite YODEL is, and why.
Comment below.
I will choose a winner Monday, September 26th.

My favorite yodel is New Plantation by Marija Mandić http://globalyodel.com/yodel/new-plantation/ ,the photo expresses such a nostalgia tone,it’s so quiet and clean, makes me strongly want to pay a visit. It’s such an ideal place to live.
My favourite is Bedroom – http://globalyodel.com/yodel/bedroom/ because I don’t know what is going on…
Whats the point? Whats the picture in the background? Why the clothes? And why is is called bedroom?
Bedroom is almost absurdist, certainly surreal, maybe, possibly epicurean?
Plus it’s got great colours and a pretty girl, I’m nothing if not easy to please.
I Love La Pura Vida… and since they sent me this direction I love the GY concept as well. After trolling around a bit I still like yesterday’s yodel best: http://globalyodel.com/yodel/miles-miles/. Can’t imagine having that backdrop as a backyard. Incredibly sweet spot.
CASTLES, HIDEOUTS & DREAMS no doubt. What a dream. Completely highlights (for me) the fact that no matter how amazing a place is or isn’t, it can’t be anything without the mindset
My favorite Yodel is the kind that is sung on the mountaintops.
I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE CUUUUUULTURRRRRRRE!
My favorite Yodel is easily Bryan Formhals. Not only is he an inspiration to me in regards to street and fine art photography, but he’s also such a badass dude. And that’s a deadly combo my friends.
Always with me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFaO0ALa0Hc
My favorite yodel is Bedford Ave. by Bryan Formhals http://globalyodel.com/yodel/bedford-ave/
I love the urban space bustling with people and the environment surrounding them. There is harmony within the chaos in the urban.

“Sculpture” by Sebastian Reiser
Because the color is irresistible, the scale is indeterminate at first without people in the frame and the ball looks like it is supposed to be paired with the sculpture in the background a la croquet ball and wicket. Because of the sense of depth of the grass that is divided into thirds by the curves of the hills and the diamond of the bare ground the ball rests on mirroring the diamond of the furthest blob of grass. And because the ball seems to have been secretly enjoying itself rolling around on the grass – the yellow on its surface has surely come from the yellow flowers on the left!
My fav is Luke Byrne’s Wattamolla
Congratulations to Jin Zhu – You have a 1 year subscription of LPV Magazine coming your way.
