My Parents Living Room by Sean Marc Lee in San Bruno, California, USA

This is my childhood home, where remnants of everything that was and is, still exist. Childhood left behind and stored away, and if lucky only to be revisited once or twice a year.

Name:Sean Marc Lee

Place you live: Taipei, Taiwan (But this photo was taken at my parent’s home in the USA).

Place your photo was taken: San Bruno, California, just 15 miles south of San Francisco.

Occupation: Photographer

Preoccupation: Hollywood monkey.

A perfect day in San Bruno? When I am home home, the perfect day involves spending the day with my father running various errands and being home for a home cooked meal made by my mother.

If someone was visiting, what must they do? Karaoke with my dad.

What is the best thing about your spot? It’s right on the California coast, and despite the foggy weather, it’s some of the best air one can breath.

What is the worst? The fog.

A little known fact about where you live? My parent’s home is practically on top of the San Andreas fault.

Where is your favorite place in the world? Where ever any loved ones are, be it family, friends or romantic partner.

Who are your three favorite photographers? I prefer filmmakers! At the always ever changing moment: Hirokazu KoreedaChris MarkerJohnnie To.
