Can you sum up Arlington, Massachusetts? A small town feel but only about a 15 minute drive to Cambridge and a 30 minute drive to Boston. After five years of living in the city, it’s nice to live somewhere quiet where I can garden and sit in the grass.

A perfect day in Arlington? Taking a walk around town on an early summer morning; maybe stopping by the library or the diner.  Riding down to Spy Pond on the bike trail and having lunch on a rock next to the water. Having dinner at Blue Ribbon Barbeque and then catching a movie at the Capitol Theatre.

If someone was visiting, what must they do? Take a stroll around town and then head into Cambridge or Boston.

A perfect meal in Arlington? A pulled pork sandwich from Blue Ribbon or sweet & sour chicken with bean sprout fried rice from Shanghai Village.

What is the best thing about your spot? I really enjoy the walkability and how bike friendly it is.

What is the worst? I sometimes miss living closer to Boston and some of my friends.

A little known fact about where you live? It’s not as far away as everyone thinks it is.

Where is your favorite place in the world? An unknown destination.
