Cannock Chase is a place that thrives with wildlife, tranquility and beauty. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like, there’s something to be found and seasons change ‘The Chase’ from every angle at anytime. This shot was within the woods from the Showell Hill end to the Chase. Deer are often seen grazing through the woods and across the rest of the park. The other thing is that, it’s close enough to where I live and it’s just out of the towns.

The immediate area that I live is residential, just on the edge of town, but five minutes drive in any direction and you are in some beautiful country side; so much better than the city.

If, I’d got to stay in our town, it would be at home with the family. But to be honest, I’d rather take them out to show them new things and places.

It’s right in the centre of our country, so traveling to view different areas of the country is very convenient.

There’s too many people, too much noise and too much pollution. Although you can get anything that you want or need.

Cannock Chase would surprise most people just with the wide variety of country side. Open areas, marshland, woods, the wildlife varieties and obviously the views at the same time as being so close to city life.
