Walking The Brooklyn Bridge in New York City, NY, USA
I made this photo while walking across the Brooklyn Bridge recently. Walking across it has been on my list of things to do forever. Previously I had only driven over it and been on a boat under it. The two-mile walk back and forth goes by so quickly, and easily, because you become so preoccupied with everything around you.
Place you live: Long Island, New York
Place your photo was taken: Brooklyn Bridge
Can you sum up the place you live in a short paragraph? I live on the south shore of Nassau County on Long Island. I’m about ten minutes from the beach and thirty minutes from New York City and the convenience of having both of those places so close makes living here totally worth it.
Occupation: Photographer
Preoccupation: Music
What is a perfect day in New York? Going on a photo adventure to a spot I’ve never been to before.
If someone was visiting, what must they do? Walk the streets of Manhattan on a nice day and check out all the different neighborhoods.
What is the best thing about your spot? There are great views. It’s something you have to do at least once.
What is the worst? It can get very crowded.
Who are your three favorite photographers? It’s hard to narrow it down to just three! Lately I have been into the work of Mark Steinmetz, Joel Meyerowitz, and Jason Nocito.
