The Uetliberg towers over the rooftops of Zurich. This big hill is a local recreation area, popular for its panoramic view of the entire city and its lake, as well as hiking trails which are also used as sledding runs during winter.

These pictures were taken after the first snowfall of the year when the whole mountain was covered by fog and offered a silent and magical ambiance.

Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland. In addition to having a large cultural offering it’s easy to escape the city and get out and enjoy nature.

Probably a lazy summer day, hanging around by the Lake of Zurich or River Limmat, followed by a barbecue in one of the several public parks, surrounded by friends.

Zurich has more than 25 Badis (public swimming baths) along the lakeshore and riverbanks.

I would say the often close-minded people.

Zurich is the biggest town in Switzerland, but you would probably be surprised, it doesn’t feel like it.
