Place your Instagrams were taken? I like to take pictures in low-income areas because of the color and diversity of the homes. I also like the highlands, where the view is wide. It’s one of the oldest areas.
Can you sum up Porto Alegre? I live in a pretty wooded town surrounded by a river where you see a beautiful sunset daily. On sunny days, the parks are peaceful and filled with people of all kinds.
What is a perfect day in Porto Alegre? A perfect day here is touring by car, conquering hills and taking in city views.
How long have you been using Instagram? Since 2010.
Do you shoot with your phone or other cameras or both? I only use my phone, a Galaxy Note 2.
What is your editing process? I use the Snapseed app.
Do you create images outside of Instagram? No, but I would… maybe my next step!
Has Instagram / phoneography affected how you shoot? I started taking pictures because Instagram is easy and I am able to create an album that serves as a study for the work itself.
Can you give a couple tips to aspiring Instagram photographers? My tip is to forget follower numbers and take pictures of what you find cool or beautiful. If art comes from the heart, recognition becomes ego!
