Cheyenne Sophia in Sauvie Island, Oregon
I was helping my friend Cheyenne with her photo project out on Sauvie Island this winter. The drive out there is beautiful, but when we started heading back home around dusk it was even more breathtaking. The sunset was casting a purple haze over everything, and the cold moist air created a beautiful fog that covered the fields. We didn’t make it far before pulling over to take some more photos.

Can you sum up the place you live? We have a lot of beautiful green trees, ugly gray clouds, and depressed young alcoholics.

What is a perfect day in your city, town, or village? a sunny day
If someone was visiting, what must they do? Nothing! Relax, eat some cheap food, we have a lot of good food carts that tourists *love*
What is the best thing about your spot? Everything is so easy. Hardly anyone works full time and if you’re sick of staring at your walls, the beach or the forest or the mountain are 10-90 minutes away.
What is the worst? All rain all the time
A little known fact about where you live? Shit gets really weird
Where is your favorite place in the world? That question is too difficult. I’m constantly going to new places and my favorite place changes just as often.
