Place you live: Florence, Italy but currently traveling around the wild west in the United States.
Place your Instagrams were taken? Florence and from all of my travels around Europe and America.
Can you sum up Florence? Non-stop inspiration.
What is a perfect day in Florence? Have coffee at a local bar, get some work done then run out to take photos around downtown Florence. The best day ends with aperitivo at a cool bar with friends then head out to dinner.
How long have you been using Instagram? Since March 2012 when I finally got an iPhone!
Do you shoot with your phone or other cameras or both? I used to shoot on a DSLR and an iPad mini but would always edit with iPad apps. I recently got a cellphone, so now I shoot everything on my iPhone 6.
What is your editing process? I love symmetry so I always make sure things are straight. The apps I use the most for @tianapix are Snapseed and VSCO. As for @notmynonni I use Snapseed and Instagram tools.
Do you create images outside of Instagram? Yes, for my website.
Has Instagram/phoneography affected how you shoot? Definitely. Since I was a little kid I always took photos. I love shadows and portraits and because of Instagram I notice more details. Instagram has changed my life due to traveling and the amazing people I have met because of the app. I think it’s so much more than just an “app.”
Can you give a couple tips to aspiring Instagram photographers? Shoot a lot, don’t be shy and spend time on your edits.
Who are your three favorite Instagrammers? Only three, how about four? I love street shots and minimal shots. Some of my favorites are @uwa2000 for her street shots and portraits around Europe, @neumarc for capturing the pure magic of Venice, @katia_mi who has created her own intriguing style and @scottborrero for his insane ability to make me want to live in each of his photos.

Must do:
Visit San Miniato al Monte which has an amazing church, cemetery and views of Florence. Besides the famous museums like Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Strozzi, check out Ferragamo’s fashion museum.
Local tip:
Don’t eat in the main piazzas unless it’s Piazza Santo Spirito… my favorites are Osteria Santo Spirito and Volume.
