Can you sum up the place you live in a short paragraph? A weird area, US capital of the homeless, not as warm as everybody thinks, full of weed, surfers, wannabe artists and writers, cafe racers and rusty automobiles, and a great area to grow tomatoes in your backyard.

A perfect day in Venice? Waking up on a Saturday, munching a super-crojo at Flake on Rose Ave for breakfast, taking the car up to Malibu Creek Canyon and taking a photo hike to Malibu Rock Lake.
If someone was visiting, what must they do? Exactly that.
A perfect meal in Venice? The cheeseburger at Hinanos, a beachy dive bar, very basic but incredibly tasty. Best served with crazy iced glass of Coke.
What is the best thing about your spot? The weather and the landscape, both fairly dry and incredible.
What is the worst? Unexpected violence, they shot a guy outside my house … it’s actually a very nice neighborhood.
A little known fact about where you live? Although Venice is in Los Angeles it does not really have any movie theater.
Where is your favorite place in the world? Malibu Rock Lake and Joshua Tree National Park.
