I took this photo in 2005 while we were making a movie called Harvey Spannos. The young boy in the photo is now a grown man and I see him most days skateboarding past my studio. I believe the chicken is dead.

Can you sum up Vancouver? I’m originally from Scotland and living over here some how still gives me the feeling of being on vacation. BC and the Pacific Northwest are phenomenal to me. Vast and empty. The end of the road. I love it.

A perfect day in Vancouver? Being outside ripping around – hanging with my fam – taking a boat to totem beach for a sundown swim – maybe share a few drinks round the fire – make up some stupid songs – classic.
