A perfect day in San Francisco? Nothing on the agenda… a cup of coffee in the AM at Ritual or Four Barrel, a drive down the coast to Santa Cruz for a surf session during a weekday without many people out, shooting some remarkable things along the way on film, and returning for dinner and a cold IPA with my wife and a couple of friends somewhere nearby.
If someone was visiting, what must they do? Instead of going to the fisherman’s wharf like most tourists, try having coffee somewhere in the Mission and then dinner somewhere like the Outerlands, Don Pistos, or Terzo. Escaping the city across the golden gate, most folks check out Sausalito, but I would recommend checking out Point Reyes or Bolinas instead.
A perfect meal in San Francisco? Anywhere with my wife.
What is the best thing about your spot? The company.
What is the worst? It’s too expensive, rent is out of control, and most regular folks can’t afford to buy.
A little known fact about where you live? It’s COLD in the summer
Where is your favorite place in the world? Bali, Brazil, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Greece… there are so many places I love.
Who are your three favorite photographers? Chris Burkard, Corey Arnold, and Thomas Campbell
