I enjoy spending my time meandering through the streets and little back alleys of Jackson Hole. With the “hill”, or Snow King, that made Jackson the town it is just blocks away from where I live, I have easy access to the local hiking trails. Along with Snow King, Grand Teton National Park is just minutes away from town and with a short drive I get the most incredible views of the most understated mountain range in the country, or at least I think so.
Jackson thrives on tourists. The two beautiful seasons enthrall the people that make Jackson their home. With the feeling of eternal winter comes the ski bumbs that make Jackson their home for a few short months, and with the summer we have an endless supply of a variety of tourists who still don’t know that deer do not turn into elk at a certain elevation. Needless to say, we’ve got something that everyone will love.
Working the early morning shift at my popular little coffee shop, and then, spending the rest of the afternoon hiking the trails around Grand Teton National Park.
Whether you are here to visit or here to stay, no matter the situation, you will always come back in the end, because you just cannot stay away from a place like this.
Quite honestly, it’s that you have to be at work when you’d much rather be outdoors having an adventure.
That within two weeks of being here in Jackson you are already over the sight of a moose because having them walk through your backyard really is a common occurrence.
