Place your Instagrams were taken? The military area of Brdy
Can you sum up Pribram? Pribram is a small city surrounded by beautiful forests in the military area of Brdy with a couple of small villages that are amazing for biking. It isn’t far from the capital city of Prague. What I love about Pribram, is that you can go and enjoy nature at morning, travel to the Prague to enjoy the big city in the afternoon, and come back in the evening to enjoy calm Pribram.
What is a perfect day in Pribram? That’s a day with my backpack full of food, fully charged camera and foggy weather all around.
How long have you been using Instagram? I think about three years, but only the last two years have been about photography.
Do you shoot with your phone or other cameras or both? I was shooting with my iPhone until now. I’ve bought DSLR few days ago and I will try to learn even more about photography. My feed will be the mix of iPhone and DSLR.
What is your editing process? I take the photo, add one or two layers in Mextures, then I use adjustments in VSCO Cam and finalize with some filter also from VSCO.
Do you create images outside of Instagram? Sure thing. Although I’m for the square format on Instagram, I love the normal format of photos. I have it on my computer, but sharing some selection to my 500px account.
Has Instagram/phoneography affected how you shoot? Definitely! But more likely it’s caused by the community around Instagram and friends I have from this social network. Also, you learn one important thing from shooting with mobile devices – you have to be close to the subject.
Can you give a couple tips to aspiring Instagram photographers? Don’t wait for a perfect place and moment. Go out and make it happen – take pictures, edit and share. You will be better after some time. You will find what you love and in what type of photography you are great at.

Wake up early and go explore villages and forests near the city during the sunrise (spring and summer) or foggy covered nature (autumn and winter).
