Place your Instagrams were taken? Ancona and our local coastline

Can you sum up Ancona? They call my region, Marche, “Italy in a Region” because it has everything: the sea, hills, and mountains. Life here is still mostly stress-free and you get to breath clean air.

What is a perfect day in Ancona? Blue sky with some clouds here and there, taking photos in my area or in a new, unexplored place.

If Ancona was a person who would it be? Amelie Poulain… dreamer and naive

How long have you been using Instagram? I signed up in early 2011, but started taking it more seriously just two years ago.

What do you shoot with? I went from being iPhone only to both iPhone (6s) and DSLR (Canon) just a month ago.

What is your editing process? I start with a little touch of Snapseed, then end up on VSCO for a final edit. Sometimes I use Skrwt to correct lens distortion, rarely Lightroom for iPhone. I got a few personal guidelines, like soft colors, details, and great contrast.

Has Instagram affected how you shoot? It did a lot and in many ways, yet I tend to experiment every single time with new perspectives.

Can you give a couple tips to aspiring Instagram photographers? Take advantage of every occasion to shoot and explore your local area, go out and always look for inspiration in simple things. Maintain your own identity and strive to evolve your photography. And meet people at instameets. They are the best part of Instagram!
