Place your Instagrams were taken? All around Central Oregon

Can you sum up Central Oregon? Central Oregon is a place where almost every activity you can think of exists! World class climbing, biking (road & mountain), skiing, hiking & backpacking, with tons of lakes and rivers. There’s no lack of outdoor recreation in Central Oregon. Smith Rock State Park is a beautiful outcropping rock formation / feature with a river flowing around it. Crater Lake National Park is 2 hours away and is one of the deepest lakes in the world! A definite must do if you’re in the area. Bend is also home to one of the highest brewery-to-human ratio in the nation, and many of the breweries have won national awards for their beers. And if you’re really more of a beach/coast person, don’t worry, that’s only a few hours’ drive away too!

What is a perfect day in Bend and Central Orgon? Spending the whole day outside doing any of the above activities and finishing the day with a cold, refreshing beer at any one of the 25+ breweries in Central Oregon.

Do you shoot with your phone or other cameras or both? GoPro, Sony and my iPhone 6.

What is your editing process? Just some simple, light Adobe Lightroom post-processing as well as some modifications in Instagram itself.

Can you give a couple tips to aspiring Instagram photographers? Go do what you love and it will show in your images.

Who are your three favorite photographers? I can’t pick three! There are so many exceptional photographers these days. I love anyone who is out there doing what they love and if they can show that in their photographs, I’m drawn.

What is the most amazing travel experience you’ve ever had? Backpacking through Switzerland with my dad as my high school graduation gift was one of the most memorable and beautiful experiences I have still had, and I have traveled a lot since then!
