Spring in London, UK
I love London in the Spring. Everything seems brighter and happier. Everyone here knows the sun doesn’t shine so often in London, but in the springtime everything changes. – The birds sing, days are longer, the sun comes out more often and the trees are covered in flowers. I took this photo of my boyfriend in Victoria Park last spring. We went there for a picnic on a sunny day and the cherry blossoms seemed like the perfect background for a photo.

A perfect day in London? Waking up, going for Turkish breakfast in the neighborhood and visiting the beautiful markets of East London.
If someone was visiting what must they do? Start the morning in East London and visit all the quirky stores, cafes and galleries. Don’t skip the Whitechapel Gallery. Must have Vietnamese food in one of the many restaurants on Shoreditch High Street. Head central in the afternoon and visit the British Museum and the Photographers Gallery. Enjoy coffee and cake in Soho at Maison Bertaux and end the afternoon West in Holland Park.
A perfect meal? Cay Tre, my favourite Vietnamese restaurant.
A little known fact about Victoria Park? It’s the best place to spot foxes in the night time.
